Dungeons and Dragons
Art
For the Art section of my project, I wanted to go back to the roots of my project one and create a sculpture. I created a Dungeons and Dragons Diorama, which is an environment the sits on the playing table that can have miniature figurings (representing the players) and monsters on it to immerse the players in the world. It is used for battles and interactions that would benefit from a visual representation. I synthesized D&D diorama's with The Boshin War in the Meiji Restoration, specifically the battle at Kodea bridge to create a fantasized version of Kodea bridge to fit a D&D campaign.
Social Studies
For my S.S. section of my project, I created a D&D campaign. I used synthesis to make the a story the include events from The Meiji restoration and fantasizes them to fit D&D. Using 20 sided dice that are used in D&D to decide the impact of characters actions throughout the story. I created new character for the campaign, but the emperor of Japan is included.
English
For English I did not relate anything to D&D or an historical topics. Because I am an english iii student, I was tasked with writing a college essay that outlines colleges that I would consider going to. I picked out two colleges and a career path that I consider options for my future out of high school. I used the synthesis skill to combine multiple different colleges into one essay.
